Customized Leadership Training:
Problem: A global avionics design and manufacturing company had just spun off from its parent company. The CEO wanted to refocus the entire leadership team to operate in new ways as an independent corporation and to step up to lead and mobilize their global workforce to address the ever-increasing challenges of their highly competitive marketplace.
Approach: We helped the company develop a new leadership model, reinforcing key attributes and behaviors demonstrated by their most successful leaders and tailored to their unique organization and future business challenges as a growing, independent company. Building on insights gained from developing this leadership model, we designed and developed a comprehensive leadership roadmap to define a multi-faceted process for developing leaders throughout their career. We designed, developed and facilitated a customized Next Generation Leadership Program for executives and mid-level leaders to introduce the new leadership model and to help them apply the new leadership attributes back on the job.
Results: As a result of attending this program, the leaders embraced and applied the new leadership model in their day-to-day operations. This helped the organization double in size, expand into new markets, and become a leading global provider in their industry. Because of the significant impact of this program, we were invited to collaborate with the company to co-develop and co-facilitate a follow-on program to help their leaders step-up to the next level of global business challenges and successfully lead the company over the next decade.
